We’re back to discuss Part III of “Obi-Wan Kenobi”! Charlotte and Caitlin give their reactions to what happens in this episode, hallucinations, Padmé mentions, sad Obi-Wan thoughts, and so much more. Click here to download the episode directly!
Credit for spotting the Hayden Christensen/James Earl Jones line melding of “I am what you made me” goes to Thank the Maker podcast!
It’s finally here: The Rise of Skywalker’s full trailer and the last trailer from the Skywalker saga. Caitlin and Charlotte freak out and react to the trailer, minutes after it launched. We talk Reylo, those overheard lines, Palpatine, Finn’s journey, even a reference to Walt Disney World’s Epcot… and so much more.
The theme of defiance takes center stage on this episode. In part one, we define it (how it is different than rebellion or resistance?). In part two, we talk about defiance throughout Star Wars. In part three, we speculate on future moments of defiance.
Hey, everyone! We want to get to know you better and find out what you like and dislike in order to continue to create awesome content for you all. We’d really appreciate it if you took 3-5 minutes to fill out our listener survey!
So what does this mean? It means more shows, guests, and Star Wars-based content for the Skytalkers podcast.
We’ve worked hard to restructure our podcast to an easier-to-listen format, by divided our discussion-based podcasts into three distinct sections for each episode. We were inspired by the wildly popular This American Life program and have followed their model going forward with our podcast. Each episode will be a comprehensive, three-part discussion about Star Wars films, stories, canon, and characters. We’re excited to discuss what it means to live This Galactic Life–hence the name change to Skytalkers: This Galactic Life.
The best part is that Skytalkers: This Galactic Life will be uploading a new show every other Saturday! Look out for our next show on March 4th, where we will be discussing each Star Wars trilogy!
