Join us for our second official episode of Skytalkers to talk about the latest episode of Star Wars Rebels, the two part #3.11 “Ghosts of Geonosis.” Caitlin and Charlotte talk about what we loved about this Rogue One-connection-filled episode and what we are excited about for the future of the show. We’re talkin’ that rudimentary Death Star drawing, Click Clack, Saw, and that amazing sand line.
The latter half of the show takes the opportunity to talk about our favorite Princess, Carrie Fisher, and do our best to memorialize our memory of her. We discuss the recently aired HBO documentary “Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds” and share some of our favorite memories from Carrie’s life. The Force will be with Carrie, always.
Hey! I’ve been hopping around between episodes, so I’m listening to this one today! About your conversation surrounding Ezra, he does have the ability to connect with animals, but he also has the ability to easily connect with beings in general. Think back to “Future of the Force” when he was able to calm down the Ithorian baby by connecting with him. It’s an empathic ability that also extends to animals, but people only remember the animal part. I’m a big Ezra fan, so I just felt the need to clarify, haha! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the comment! I need to revisit Rebels as a whole–Ezra’s abilities and connectivity with the Force is what makes him a super interesting character. I’m so curious to see how his story shakes out, and to what extent we can see the rest of his empathetic abilities. 🙂 – Charlotte
