Fireworks are one of those little things in life that make you truly believe in magic and when visiting any one of the Disney Parks. They tend to represent a goodbye of sorts: sometimes to a long-awaited vacation or simply the closing chapter of a long day. In any case, I firmly believe there is no better way to end a sweltering day plagued by humidity and long lines than with the most gorgeous fireworks display I’ve ever witnessed, Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. Of course, I am a tiny bit biased in this assertion…

“You call this a diplomatic solution?”
“No, I call it aggressive negotiations!”

The whole display is a beautiful representation of the Saga in it’s entirety representing all eight live-action films that have been released to date. While the fireworks are set off in the background, the Galactic Spectacular is projected against the full-size replica of Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Many of the most iconic characters and moments from the Saga are highlighted during the show and when it’s all said and done, you’re left with a sincere sense of nostalgia and a strong desire to binge-watch all eight films in one sitting. It truly takes you to a galaxy far, far away and it is a must-watch for Star Wars fans, young and old alike, when visiting Walt Disney World!
